Merton Special Educational Needs Information and Advice and Support Service
Offers impartial advice and guidance to parents, carers and young people, supporting families around identification of SEN, support required and intervention in the form of an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
Kids First
Merton's forum for for parents of children and young people with disabilities or Special Educational Needs. Provides workshops, support activities, newsletters and the opportunity for parents to meet others in similar situations.
Carers Support Merton
Provides independent information, advice, support, advocacy and respite to the many carers in Merton, including help with concerns with health, money, work and finding extra support.
Home-Start Merton
Parent-to-parent support for Merton families with children aged up to 11 years of age who are in need of support at a critical period in their parenting. This includes emotional support, help to access medical appointments and signposting to services
NAS Merton (National Autistic Society)
Local support for support network for families and children with Autism/Asperger syndrome
Family Information, advice and support hubs
Drop-in sessions for all parents of Merton children offering advice around child development, finding childcare, relationships, money, work and more. Sessions run at chidren's centres in Merton
