Stepping Stones is a welcoming intimate playgroup for local pre-schoolers and their carers.  Every session will open at 9:45 with stories and singing – invaluable for a child to acquire language, build literacy and creating a special bonding time between carers and children as they engage together in the stories, songs and actions.  Stories also help build cultural identity - as a group run by members of Dundonald Church our storytime will always include a toddler-friendly explanation of a Christian belief or story. While the kids enjoy their snacks the adults will also get to have a short reflection time. 

Each session will also offer an array of toys, a focus activity, a craft and equipment to support physical and imaginative play, building confidence, responsibility and empathy for others as children and adults come together to share this space and time together.  We’ll finish at 11 with our goodbye song.

Places are limited, so please do not turn up without pre-booking a ticket as we don’t want to have to turn you away.
