South London Refugee Association

South London Refugee Association aims to relieve poverty and distress by supporting refugees, asylum seekers and newly arrived migrants in South London. We provide tailored support at weekly drop-in centres, casework and advocacy, plus youth support services. We work closely with local and strategic partners to ensure the needs of refugees and asylum seekers are represented in local community networks and beyond. We run a range of services across South West London boroughs.
For adults and families, we provide weekly drop-in advice sessions in Balham and Streatham. Here our clients can access free and confidential advice on bills and debt, employment support, benefits, housing problems, immigration and health. We also offer English classes, a free hot lunch and positive activities including cooking sessions, women's yoga and outings.
Our weekly drop-in sessions take place at the following locations:
Wandsworth: Mondays 10am - 2pm (term time only). St Mary's Church, Balham High Road, Balham, SW12 9BS
Lambeth: Thursdays 10am - 2pm (term time only). The Woodlands Centre, 16 Leigham Ct Road, SW16 2PJ
