A number of schools in Merton directly purchase this service for their students. Home School Links workers are based in-school and provide therapeutic support for individual children with emotional/behavioural/social issues, parenting work, and group work for children with common problems such as friendship or transition.  Schools refer children directly to their allocated worker, and there is capacity for schools who do not commission the service to utilise a spot purchase worker for individual children.  Home School Links workers are professional qualified in different types of therapy specialising in working with children and young people, and can provide training and consultation for staff.
