Creating Wellness - YMCA Inclusive Lives
Our free therapeutic journey exploring the creative expression of wellness is being very well received by all members of the community.
The participants have found it very rewarding to explore their feelings and emotions in a positive and supported way with the Release team counsellors. They have been creating tools for wellness, exploring emotions and experiencing an increased wellbeing. At the sessions which are held at St Marks Church Hall in Surbiton on a Wednesday, 12-3pm, our participants have been able to play with creative expression in a supportive and safe environment, via movement, music, art and poetry. It’s a positive way to regain strength and focus and is an important part of our YMCA Inclusive Lives project.
