Family Wellbeing Service – Parenting Programmes

Family Wellbeing Service (FWBS) – Parenting Programmes: offer a range of Triple P parenting programmes for parents of children from about the age of 4/5 to 16 years old. This includes programmes for children with additional needs and anxiety and some programmes can be accessed independently online. We also run the Freedom Programme for women who have experienced domestic violence and abuse and male perpetrators.

Families with needs at Level 3 and 4 of the Effective Support Model, evidenced in a Targeted Early Help Assessment or Child and Family Assessment. Families who meet the criteria of Targeted and Specialist services would normally be open to Children’s Social Care, The FWBS with a Caseworker or on a TAF, with a lead professional.

Referrals are made by professionals working with the family, usually open to Children’s Social Care, Casework or on a TAF.

Parents can not refer themselves directly and they should be directed to FISH session to discuss the support available.
