Description

Applicants will have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and would not normally be able to access mainstream education.

Applications need approval by Merton’s SEN panel who would consider whether local options could meet the student’s needs. Families are always encouraged to explore local options in the first instance.

The curriculum includes a range of integrated therapies and medical care tailored to the individual and focusses on communication, access to the community and life skills. Courses lead to accredited ASDAN qualifications.

Applications should be completed at least a year prior to entry but, ideally, much earlier and will require an assessment to be carried out at the college.
