Uptown Youth Holiday Club - HAF Programme Summer 2022

Uptown will be offering youth activities including:

  • Computer games, board games and groups discussions
  • A huge variety of sports
  • Bicycle riding and repair workshops
  • Low and High Ropes
  • Local walks
  • Hair dressing
  • Life skills in Meal / snack ideas, Preparing, cooking and serving and budgeting
  • Arts and crafts, music, singing, drama.
  • A computer room with internet access, educational workshops subjects or workshops, skills share homework support.
  • Peer to Peers skills workshop, Mentoring sessions, Support for yr. 11 and Transitioning support for year 6.
  • Young Dancers from the Brit School delivering Dance taster sessions and young guest speakers.
  • Young Footballers from various football colleges delivering football sessions / sports and exercise sessions and providing guest speakers.

This programme offers free places for children who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals. It is part of the government’s expanded Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme which is being delivered across the country in the main school holidays, offering activities and nutritious meals at no cost for eligible children. Places are limited.

You may book for your child to attend up to 4 days per week, for up to 3 weeks across the summer holiday.

  • Attend the Uptown Youth Club session on Wed / Friday 6pm - 9pm or Saturday 4pm - 7pm at Leyton Road Centre, 21 Leyton Road, Colliers Wood, SW19 1DJ. Registration forms / Care Plan Forms will be issued for completion and returned.

You will need the unique access code for your child which will be issued to you by their school if you are eligible.
