Amie Drammeh
Hi, my name is Amie, I work full time as an Ofsted registered childminder. I am married and have two children of my own, a daughter aged 11 years old and a son aged 16 years old. I have been a childminder since 2009.
I work in partnership with parents so together we can focus on your child’s individual needs and ensure that we give them the best care possible. I offer a warm, safe, homely environment where your child will learn and develop through play.
I have been working with children for many years and enjoy activities such as going to soft play, picnics in the park, play groups, story time at the library, visiting farms and museums. I am always seeking out new things to stimulate and develop the children in my care.

Local Offer
- Description
As a childcare practitioner I have to be a good role model.
To boost speech and language development in the early years:
Speak clearly and calmly, use age appropriate language, make eye contact, get down to the child’s level if necessary. Repeat sentences back to children, replacing mistakes with corrections.
Listen carefully when the children are talking to me – be patient and give them plenty of time to find their words.
Use pictures, books, toys, playing, talking and access to a therapist.
