Merton Mencap Holiday Play Scheme
Leisure activities for children/young people with a learning disability and autism taking place on weekdays during the school/college holidays
"We run playschemes for children with special educational needs aged 5 – 12 throughout the year during the Easter, Summer and half term school holidays. We organise fun activities, local trips out and people to come in and run activities to make sure that the children in our care have a good day.
Our trained and experienced staff support the children, with a minimum staff ratio of one member of staff to three children but we do provide one to one support where necessary.
We cater for children with a large range of needs at our Holiday Playschemes, and work closely with social services to ensure we can support the children who use us appropriately and safely to make sure they have a good day with us and go home happy"
