Stem4 - supporting teenage mental health (Self Harm)

Stem4 is a teenage mental health charity aimed at improving teenage mental health by stemming commonly occurring mental health issues at an early stage. Stem4 targets four specific audiences – the young people affected, their friends, their families and carers, plus schools (teachers and nurses).
The website provides information on, and helps to identify, individual mental health issues, including self harm, which is when someone hurts themselves on purpose.
The Calm Harm app was developed to help young people manage the urge to self-harm. The app aims to support young people either as part of on-going treatment or as an interim measure while they wait for specialist help.
Please note that stem4 does not provide a counselling service.
