Open for some children from June 2020A specialist independent day school for children from 3 to 19 years with speech, language and communication difficulties.
We provide an integrated programme of learning in a caring and highly supportive environment. A positive behavioural approach encompasses every part of school life.
Pupils follow the National Curriculum, although some areas will need modification to take account of specific learning difficulties.
Speech and language therapy is an integral part of the daily curriculum. Physiotherapy, occupational therapy and arts therapies are also key areas of the curriculum.
Pupils in KS4 take GCSEs and other qualifications appropriate to their abilities.

- We offer small group sizes of no more than 10 pupils. Each pupil receives direct input from a qualified Speech and Language Therapist who also works within the classroom, throughout the curriculum, focusing on developing attention, language, play and social communication across each week. Each pupil receives intensive direct input from a sensory integration trained Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist, who works onsite within the classroom and can provide advice to staff and in-class support, using a sensory integration approach whilst also working on the development of gross and fine motor skills.

We provide an integrated programme of learning in a caring and highly supportive environment. A positive behavioural approach encompasses every part of school life. Staff are trained in attention autism, SCERTS, Makaton and have training and experience in supporting and managing children with a range of speech, language and communication needs.
We offer small group sizes of no more than 10 pupils. Each pupil receives 30 minutes direct daily input per day from a qualified Speech and Language Therapist who also works within the classroom, throughout the curriculum, focusing on developing attention, language, play and social communication across each week.
Each pupil receives 30 minutes per day of intensive direct daily input from a sensory integration trained Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist, who works onsite within the classroom and can provide advice to staff and in-class support, using a sensory integration approach whilst also working on the development of gross and fine motor skills.
AAC provided to suit the individual needs of the pupils to support the development of their communication skills.
