METRO Boys and Young Men Project
METRO Boys and Young Men Project offers support and advice around sex and relationships for boys and young men in Merton. This service is for young men aged between 11-19 years. The service offers information about a range of topics including healthy relationships, condoms and contraception, sexual health testing, domestic violence, fatherhood, attitudes about gender and sexuality and general wellbeing.
The project offers three main services:
- outreach work at events and youth settings to provide short 1-2-1 interventions;
- a series of 6 workshops for a group in a school or youth centre;
- and up to 6 sessions offered to a young man who needs 1-2-1 support
