Inner Strength Network - Fun and Food Programme Summer 2021

Eligible young people can enjoy a number of Fun and Food holiday club sessions this summer with the Inner Strength Network CIC

The network offers aprogramme of arts and craft activities, along with team games, quizzes and basic self-defence instruction. E-safety workshops and discussions will be offered. All of this is to help build confidence and skills, as well as explore emotional wellbeing. A trained mentor/life coach will also be available to provide both group and individual support to any participant needing additional emotional support.

A hot meal will be provided.

This programme provides free places for children and young people who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals. It is part of the government’s expanded Holiday Activities and Food programme (HAF) which is being delivered across the country in the main school holidays, offering activities and nutritious meals at no cost for eligible children.

Places are limited and each young person can take a maximum of a set number of free sessions (usually 4 sessions across one week).

Referral is required into this programme. If your child is eligible for benefits-related free school meals and you'd like them to attend these free Fun and Food sessions, please email Emma Wiles (see below)
