Referral Details

Your child will need a clinically diagnosed sensory impairment, either a hearing, visual or multi sensory- deaf/blind diagnosis.

A referral with a medical diagnosis is required and signed permission is sought from the parent/carer with parental responsibility.

Children and Young people are usually referred to us by the hospital.

Parents /carers and schools are welcome to phone us for advice but we cannot support a child /young person without a medical diagnosis which needs to be obtained through your GP.

We are a team of teachers and are available in term time. However we offer a 52 week service for newly diagnosed babies with a hearing loss.
