Daksha Vyas

A childminder based in Colliers Wood. My name is Daksha Vyas and I have been a registered Ofsted childminder for over 25 years and have vast experience in having developed and cared for children over the years. I am based in Colliers Wood, London.

I am committed to providing a fun, friendly and safe environment for the children in my care and have attended many courses and continue to attend courses to ensure that I drive to provide children with stimulating learning opportunities that reflect their age and stage of development through play and every day experiences. These courses have also allowed me to ensure that I have all the necessary skills and qualities required to give children the best possible care and development. I have DBS certificate on request when visiting and am fully vaccinated from COVID-19. I am able to show all my certificates to show I am fully qualified upon visit and request. 

I understand that each child is an individual and treat them with care, empathy and respect. I provide a nutritious and balanced diet, encouraging the children to make healthy food choices. I believe in working in partnership with parents; welcoming ideas and encouraging parents to give me regular feedback to give the child the best possible upbringing. I run my setting professionally, attending training opportunities regularly, respecting confidentiality, and keeping organised records in accordance with current guidelines. I have clear policies and procedures.

I am committed to providing a reliable service that parents can depend on and in which they can place their confidence. I received an overall grade of 'Good' in my latest Ofsted report and the report stated, "The childminder knows the children well and meets their individual needs."

As a Registered Childminder I can provide care for children from birth to twelve years old in a home environment. I am happy to take on any child and will not discriminate against children or their families for reasons such as race, religion, sex or ability. Overall, my ability to track and observe children well alongside with over 25 years experience in the field will help me to ensure that any child in my care has the best possible upbringing, development and care.
