Prospects is a major provider of careers services and offers support to get young people into education, employment or training or to help them stay in education, employment or training. Services are accessible, local and Prospects works with young people based on their needs and aspirations. They provide mentoring, support and help to get ready to enter education, employment or training, and help and support to stay there. They have access to opportunities so young people can choose what route they wish to take.

Prospects also help young people who have learning and other disabilities and difficulties. 

Prospects is funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) to provide the outreach part of the London ESF Youth Programme for young people aged 16-24 - CALM (careers and learning mentoring).  This scheme is aimed at helping young people who are Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET) or at risk of becoming NEET gain employment, find apprenticeships or further education.
