Incredible Years Attentive Parenting Programme

The Incredible Years Attentive Parenting programme is a group based parenting course for families with children aged 2 to 5. It focuses on how parents can promote their children’s emotional regulation, social skills, problem-solving abilities, reading and school readiness.
This programme is for families who need some support and guidance to focus on positive parental activities and strategies to support their child’s development.
The programme for parents runs for 6 weeks, with children being cared for by our Incredible Me crèche team. Parents and children are then invited to come along together to the Unity group - a play-based group - to further support them to implement the positive parenting strategies they learnt on the course. The Unity group runs for 6 weeks.
The programme is run by Merton Council's parenting teams who have lots of experience of supporting young children and their families.
