Grenfell Housing & Training (for young people)

Grenfell Housing & Training provides housing and support in Merton, Kingston and Wandsworth for young people aged 16-30, young mothers and people with learning disabilities.

Our tenants have the support of a dedicated housing officer. The housing officers work closely with tenants, getting to know each person individually and finding out about their aspirations. We provide a range of support services for our tenants designed to help move each person towards independence. We encourage tenants to take up the training opportunities we offer

We run a programme of soft skill development and one to one interventions with the supported housing officers covering areas such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, healthy living and issues around dependence on drugs or alcohol. Tenants also have access to the accredited training and employment advice from our training department. We aim to move our tenants on to permanent accommodation after two years with Grenfell.
