IKWRO - Support for women with No Resource to Public Funds
IKWRO - Women's Rights Organisation is delivering a new project for women and girls who have No Recourse to Public Fund (NRPF) in Merton.
The project recognizes the issues faced by women and girls who have NRPF and struggle to move on without help. We take proactive steps to resolve cases and help families plan how they move out of support. The new project will offer one-to-one specialist advice and caseworkers to women with NRPF (No Recourse to Public Funds) under S17, outside S17 on spousal visa and women with insecure immigration status. We will offer support of advice and advocacy services and counselling and therapeutic support services.
IKWRO is a specialist charity organisation offering advice, advocacy and support for women and girls of Middle Eastern origin who are still oppressed in the UK from highly patriarchal cultures, particularly Farsi, Kurdish, Arab, Turkish and Dari speaking women who have been affected by or who are experiencing domestic violence, forced marriages, female genital mutilation and “honour” killings.
It is a FREE service and we also accept referrals.
