Hello, my name is Beata. I am a OFSTED registered childminder with over 14 years of experience in childcare. I'm a loving mother of my 10 and 12-year-old sons. My husband is working in Merton College and fully supports me in fulfilling my career of becoming a childminder. We live in Lower Morden in a 3-bedroom house with a big garden. Our house is located next to a park and within walking distance to local schools. I am a very responsible, fun and trustworthy person and one of the things that I love the most is caring for children. If I do take care of yours, they will be treated and loved as my own! I am a very active, nurturing and creative person. Working with children makes me happy and fulfilled. I believe by giving them a secure and stimulating environment they grow to the best of their potential. For me every child is different and unique that is why my approach is individual for each of them.

In my setting I am engaging children in many activities, such as art, music, role play, messy play, outdoor play and outings (Library, play groups, playgrounds, farms, museums, theatres). Through my years of working with children I realized how hands-on activities when children use all of their senses in play can boost their development and support learning.

I have a very good understanding and knowledge of EYFS as I have held a room leader position at a Nursery for over 5 years.

As a mother I understand parents’ needs and always try to be flexible. My opening hours are from 8.00am to 6.00pm with the opportunity to extend, five days a week (Monday to Friday) all year round.

My qualifications:

Level 3 NVQ in Children’s Care, Learning and Development
Master of Science, University of Marie-Curie Sklodowska in Poland
Pediatric First Aid
Anaphylaxis and Epi-pen training

Food and Hygiene training
